It was requested that the foot blocks be a contrasting color in non-skid. In looking over the project it was determined that the best approach would be to create waterways, in the same manner that all other non-skid patterns are created. This would serve numerous purposes. Primarily, it would serve to break up the huge area in to managable sized areas for painting, but it would also make future repairs much easier, in that the entire floor area won't have to be repainted, nor would there be unsightly patches after the repair was completed. The final layout was approved, and the precision taping began. The final product will have lasting beauty, functionality and a high degree of safety for the passengers. With the waterways done, the footblocks were masked and course Griptex with Awlgrip was applied. The Whipser Grey waterways with 50% matte finish Whisper grey nonskid and Light Grey footblocks look good together.
